Major Points in Breeding

Before the chicken handlers enter the brooding room, cleaning and disinfection is very important.
House temperature, humidity, light intensity for starters should conform to the requirements as follows:

1.During the brooding period, chicks are fed twice a day. The illumination time for the first two days is 20 to 22 hours, light intensity of 20 lux; From day 3 to 8 weeks, time will reduce to 8 to 10 hours and the light intensity reduced to 5 lux; From 8 weeks to17 weeks, keeping 8-10 hours of constant lighting and light intensity.

2. When the weight is 1.47 kg, chicks are beginning to increase through light stimulating. Light intensity is 10 to 20 lux, lighting time add 15 to 30 minutes a week, until reaching 16 hours.

3. Weight control: weighing from 5 weeks, once every two weeks. If body weight below or above the standard, one should change the feeding plan appropriately in order to control the weight of laying hens to a standard rate.
